Monarch Writers Workshop offers memoir writing classes in New York and online. We specialize in creative writing courses for beginners or those who have been intimidated in the past by a harsh writing workshop experience. Monarch Writers Workshop uses a positive-centered critique approach. Writers leave class wanting to dig in and improve. We aim to take shame out of the equation, and instead focus on a growth mindset.
Monarch Writers Workshop also offers intermediate and advanced writing workshops for those with a steady writing practice that would benefit from a more loving approach because of the sensitive nature of that material they’re writing.
